Story
Weaving is an ancestral art for Southern Africa. It is passed down from generation to generation through the Tonga and Binga tribes.
The basket is entirely handmade from Ilala palm leaves and natural dyes from roots and bark. These baskets are traditionally used to carry grain. Then aesthetics gave a new life to the creations of these Tonga women. It takes several days to make a basket by hand. Each basket will certainly be admired by the women who make it.
